The Flop Box is what exposed me to the world of zines, and I think there is huge potential for artists in the Caribbean to get their art out there. Pinky & Emigrante published one last year; they hand delivered em to their audience in cool, affordable packaging. Now their brand is pretty salient… at least in my mindspace, so I guess that’s an accomplished goal right there.

Zines give you the intimate session with the art that the gallery provides, but without the stushness that you have to endure to get wasted off the free wine. Enjoy!
